The Republican National Committee (“RNC”) has selected Milwaukee, Wisconsin as the city  to host the 43rd quadrennial Republican National Convention (the “Convention”) to be held in July  2024. The RNC has authorized the Committee on Arrangements (“COA”) to organize and manage  the Convention on its behalf. Elise Dickens has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the  COA.

 

170 Freedom Milwaukee 2024 Host Committee, Inc. dba MKE 2024 Host Committee, a  Wisconsin non-profit corporation and approved by the Internal Revenue Service as tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (the “Host Committee”), has been formed to  facilitate certain obligations in connection with hosting the Convention. Ted Kellner has been  appointed as the Chief Executive Officer and Alison Prange has been named as Chief Operating  Officer of the Host Committee.

 

Below is a brief summary of services being requested through this Request for Proposal  (“RFP”) for private security services for the 2024 Republican National Convention. All prospective  bidders must create a profile in the Host Committee Vendor Connection at  https://www.mke2024host.org/vendors/. Once you have created a profile in the Host Committee  Vendor Connection, please request a copy of the RFP by emailing rfp@mke2024host.org. All  potential bidders will be required to sign and return a non-disclosure agreement prior to receiving a  copy of the RFP.

 

Private Security Services

 

The selected vendor will be responsible for assisting with security-related efforts to ensure the  Convention is conducted in a secure environment that is conducive to meeting the needs of the various  dignitaries, delegates, officials, guests, media representatives, staff members, and volunteers who will  be in attendance. The selected vendor will be expected to maintain the highest professional standards

 

and shall work with COA to develop the scope of the project, including means and methods of  execution.  

Each bidder is advised to thoroughly read the full RFP prior to providing a submission. Late,  incomplete, or insufficient proposals are subject to being rejected from consideration. Proposals will  be evaluated based on a set of criteria established in the RFP by a scoring committee to be comprised  of individuals appointed by the Host Committee and COA. We highly encourage incorporating local  partnerships in your response.

 

All proposals for this private security services RFP must be received by the Host Committee  and COA by 5:00 p.m. Central Time on Monday, May 20, 2024.
