How can I do business with the convention?
We want to ensure that the citizens of and businesses in Milwaukee share in the economic success that the convention will offer. By completing the form above, the MKE 2024 Host Committee and other interested groups will have access to the vital information necessary to contact you with business opportunities around the convention.
What are the businesses you’re looking for?
A convention of this size needs all types of services. In the form, we’ve listed the specialty services most in demand during past conventions. If you don’t see a category that fits your business, please select “other” so we know how to direct inquiries to you if potential opportunities arise.
How is Vendor Connection different from the Vendor Directory?
When you submit your business’s information through the Vendor Connection portal, the Host Committee uses it internally for direct needs related to convention planning. We reference it when sending out information about RFPs and use it to communicate directly with vendors about upcoming opportunities. After joining the Vendor Connection portal, a member of our staff will reach out to applicable Wisconsin-based businesses to see if they would also like to list their information in our public-facing Vendor Directory. The directory is used by visitors to the city when planning their trips and events related to the Convention. A separate form with different information must be filled in order to be included in the Vendor Directory.
What is the timeline for doing business with the convention?
Work around the convention could begin as soon as fall of 2023. Venues and event spaces may expect attention well in advance. Most of the work around the convention will take place well into 2024, including some needs that will arise just months before the convention.
How will I be notified?
The MKE 2024 Host Committee will provide email updates to businesses that submit their information to highlight available opportunities. Businesses that complete the form will be included in a database accessible by the Host Committee and its partners.
What if I'm not selected?
Our main goal is for the convention impact to stretch well beyond 2024. We aim to build a list of partners who can be a resource to Milwaukee after the 2024 Republican National Convention ends. By completing the form, we will give your information to other community organizations who will host future large-scale events. This list will serve as a tool for anyone looking to experience the best in hospitality that Milwaukee can offer.
